1938-1949 closed cars with cloth interior Question

According to the Master Parts Book all these cars use the same interior door lock knob. If you have an unrestored car or are sure you have accurate reproduction what door lock knob is original correct?

These cars are different than the above list: 1938-1941 Cadillac series 60s.   1940 series 52,62,72.
