The widow of the previous owner of my 1937 LaSalle convertible coupe was unable to find the keys when I bought it. After removing the passenger door handle, I found a 3 digit number stamped towards the end of the handle shaft. Anyone know if this is the lock's key code?

   The key code is a 4 digit number.  See if there one more number. It should be between 8000-9499.
