Post by: rockinthehouse2 on March 28, 2024, 06:26:43 PM
I would like to know how many of these vehicles were built during 1942 as WWW 2 United States stopped all Production. The id tag on the Lh side of cowl shows Styke # 42-7533 Body # 157 Trim # 93 Paint & Top ACC. # 1  Body By Fleetwood

Check this site out.....doesn't look like alot of 75 series cars were built....there are different 7533s that were built.  Must have been slight differences in these 7533 cars...

The answer to your question is  430  according to the chart Mike posted. There were three versions of a 7533 in 1942. (7533L, 7533F, and 7533). Your data plate says your car is a 7533. The data plate body number is #157. That means your car was the 157th 7533 made in 1942. Your car cannot be a 7533L or 7533F because they made less than 157 of those.

Hello Ken,

I'm glad to see another 42-7533 around!  I own one also (body 18, trim code 94, paint code 1).  If you are able, please post photos!  I know this model of car very well as mine has been in my family for 65 years. If you have any questions about yours, don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks!
Jeff

Another 42 owner here also; ours has only been in the family 30 years next month.

He's a retired veteran and living the life of leisure now.  Pic in avatar.
