Can you tell me what condition the door handles are in?

EDIT: Exterior door handles, looking for all 4 that are in better shape than the ones on my 57.

I will check and get back with you hopefully tomorrow. I have a 57  coming in also in 2 weeks so if these will not work for you the ones on it might be in better shape for you.
Thanks

Thank you, no rush - if you're getting a 57 in I will make a list of some things I am looking for, especially if it happens to be a sedan.

A few of those handles are nicer than what I currently have. I'm interested in seeing what comes in on the 57. Does it happen to be the parts car that recently sold from Oregon?

I'm still interested in '58 coupe sheet metal.   Especially, the middle lower trunk section rim and pan that extends into the bumper.   We discussed last year, but things never gelled.
I don't really need the qtrs, unless pristine/NOS.

Dan no the 57 is from texas. J as for a 1958 Cadillac coupe, i should be getting one in tomorrow afternoon.
Feel free to txt or call me with the parts you need. I still have the back end of that first coupe sitting around.

If the incoming 57 sedan has that elusive trim strip going across the bottom of the decklid, please let me know. I have been searching for this piece on and off for over 10 damn years. I'll also wait to see what those door handles look like, if they're bad I will take some of the better 58 ones. I looked at my handles again last night and they're pretty rough which is a shame since 16 years ago when I got the car they were perfect, but I guess that is what the elements do being left outside.

Thank you Dex.

Parts in San An?
More than two days one way for me.   Not traveling until the virus situation eases.   So have to be certain to buy sight unseen and ship.
Can you take a picture of the trunk lower area of the two coupes (trunk open) and email me?
There's an overlap section on each end(in curve) and I need those and what's in between.   Pan extends down under bumper, but that's not as critical.   Prefer it to be there for pattern.
what I see of the turq car nothing external of interest.   Corrosion in all the usual places I have to fix.   Guessing condition of the trunk lid the rear lower pan will be shot.   But I mostly need the section of the rim they cut out of mine.   I can make sheet metal but not the heavier rim.
If 2 rear bumper ends aren't too bad, I might be interested.   Need to be good enough to rechrome.
What are the floor pans like in the turq?
Pan I reference attached.

Lars yes both are air condition cars.

J the floors are shot in most of these cars. Ill get you pics when i get trunks open. As far as bumper ends i have 14 or so. I can sell them to you as is. What holes pop up when they start stripping them i cant control. Just want that it to be understood with everyone. They might look good when you get them but that doesn't mean they will not end up with holes when the chrome shop starts doing there stuff.

bumper ends.
Pick out 1 L & 1 R and take pictures and price.  I need the stainless louvers, if good.   One of mine is "wrong".   Mine are "OK", i just don't want to remove and send out for months in chrome and be without/torn down.  I can trade these from some and then get mine redone.  These are notorious, as they are pretty tight stampings and in a place where moisture accumulates.

I figured same on floor pans.  I can tell by looking at the exposed exterior mostly.   Anything that sits and hasn't been protected from below against the elements...    Lots of good cars rotted away.
I'm amazed you're able to find so many '58s they don't come up often, especially coupes.

Dexfoster

As of last night i might have 2 more coming in. J whats your email? Or can i get a number to send pictures to? Thanks
