Steve,

I have tried searching for GREEN, Green, "GREEN* "GREEN" but still nothing.

If you can send me a complete copy to my personal email address, it might assist further.

Thanks,

Bruce. >:D

Bruce,

This is what I received, which looks Kosher, like every other notice from the forum that I have a PM and how to get it and respond to it by the blue links.

How is this getting through our nifty new barrier system - or is this guy a real dues paying membe5 MEMBER.

My name is John (member#29625).I have a 1940 lasalle model 50 4door sedan that I am,  gulp!, restomoding. I have a complete chassis with the radiator, engine, transmission, rearend, gastank, well you get it. It's a complete rolling / running chassis minus the body. I would like to sell all of it, but I have no idea what it's worth. Engine and transmission are in very good running condition. Can anyone give me an idea as to it's value? I've been offered $500.00 dollars for the engine and transmission but that sounds alittle low.

I tried to see who he was, but cannot locate him as a Member.

Do you have the ID or name that he used when posting the PM?

The reason that the posting looks odd is that he simply Copied the whole page, including the heading and information at the left side, and pasted that to the message.

Thanks,

Bruce. >:D

Not to detract from anything but with that York/techumseh compressor that ARA (mfg) system looks very much like the one I installed in my 1966 GMC truck.
Isn't that adv dated 1965?

I gently pried open this crack. Then worked high heat sealant on all four sides into the crack. Then clamped the sides closed and cleaned the surfaces. I left a layer on the inside edge that should make a barrier. I will let this dry up then get into the mail hopefully Friday.

His prices could be very substantial and he stood behind them.

When a friend contacted Ed to purchase a coil for his pre-war Cadillac and was quoted $300 almost 25 years ago, the friend responded 'I don't want a box of them, just one'  LOL!
