Hey Jeff. I bought a set of those from McVey's a few years back. They are easy to put on and look great. BUT.... After about a year the oil film from the breather cap starts getting to the adhesive and they start to lift. Maybe a coat of clear over them to seal it up may take care of it. We just pulled them off and got some white enamel and painted them by hand. Looks just as good.

Good evening Paul. It's simply a mask to enable painting of the script like the factory many moons ago, unlike McVeys viynl script letters/bars.
