In addition to trying to narrow search parameters, depending on what I'm looking for, I will display results by "price-highest first."  Useful if you are looking for a piece of unobtanium trim; not so much if you're looking for trim screws. And you get to see the really ridiculous stuff, like the people asking $10k for a set of Eldo wheelcovers.
