Hello everyone, I started a restoration project on a 1961 Deville, and there has been a huge learning curve. I have never worked on an older car before so lots of things have been trial and error or a lot of research online. I am currently working on the sheetmetal (rusted floors) and I am about to remove the front fenders. I am wondering if I have to remove the front lights and grill in order to remove the fenders.

Thank you very much.

If you have the factory service manual, there will be a description how to remove the fenders. As you intend to resTore the car, I'm suggesting that you remove the bumper and grille. Otherwise, they will be on the way.
