Hello,
Has anyone bought reproduction Y-50 mirrors for their 1955 Cadillac ?
I have noticed that they sell them for the mid fifties Corvette and they are one third the price of the repops for the Cadillac. To my untrained eye they look the same.
Thank you for any information.

I don't believe these are the same, even though they have the "Y 50"
stamped on them.

The base of the '55 Cadillac mirror has a strange curve to it so that it
gives a proper fit to the spot of the door where it attaches.

I once bought a chevy repro mirror only to find out that it had a flat bottom
and wouldn't work.  I don't know for sure if the Corvette mirrors have the
same issue, but that's my experience.
