Gear shift knob

I am wondering if the knob on the three on the tree is screwed on or press fit?

Thanks! Cracks here too. Without knowing, I am not doing. Now I can unscrew and restore.

My shift knob is just grey plastic. I tried removing it last night by wrapping some rubber around it and then using water pump pliers to turn it. Nothing happened. I don't want to force it any further. I'm not sure where to go from here. I don't want to break the lever where it attaches to the shift hub.
