I am in the process of restoring at 1962 Cadillac Deville, Im doing all the work myself in my garage as a challenge. I just finished rebuilding the 390 motor.

Hello John,

I am assuming your first name is John from your forum name.  Welcome to the forum.  I am rejuvenating my '67 in my garage by myself.  Actually, the car is outside.  My tiny one car garage is full of stuff.

Now that you have rebuilt the engine, what are your plans for the rest of the car?  If your budget allows, you may want to consider painting your engine with Bill Hirsch's Cadillac blue.  From the photo of your engine, it looks like it is painted with a Ford or Chevy color.  Authentic color will add immeasurably to the look of the car when it is done.  Good luck.

Ditto on the above engine paint recommendation.

Welcome to the CLC forum and good luck with the restoration.
