Hi!!
I need help finding the replacement part for my Auto trans Th425 Filler tube.
I’m looking for a new O-ring or filler tube boot.

Could you please help me finding the correct part number please?

Thanks a lot for your help!

It should be an Oring.   I want to say its one that is slightly squared.  I may have a spare, will go look and see if there is a part number on it.

My expectation is, it is the same as for a TH400 (different filter), a
lot easier to find.  I probably have some.  Bruce Roe

I checked my stock and it looks like must have used it and put a different transmission part in the same size and color box in the same spot on the shelf so no part number.

I saw that rock auto listing and I don't trust it.  Picture shows several and the notes talk about other locations.  Its cheap so if you are ordering other parts you could get that too and see what you get.

Had a question about this post. I believe that I am leaking ATF through my dipstick tube and need to replace the o-ring on my 72 Eldo.  How hard was it to remove this dipstick?  Was a suitable o-ring found?

Got the o-ring last week and it was the correct part!

Pretty easy to replace it!
You just have to remove the bolt that attach the tube to the engine (bolt near the exhaust manifold).
Then jiggle gently the tube and pull it and it will come slowly!

Good luck!
