Title: View of flange or piece for Headlight Buckets 70 series, Cadillac
Post by: NidanCRM on September 19, 2017, 12:20:09 PM
I have been working on the 1937, 70 series 5 passenger Sedan for 12 years and very close to completing. Can anyone post a  couple of photos  showing what the Headlight bucket flange looks like or what the piece look like on the inside of cowl section (around radiator shown in attached photo).  I have the piece that attaches by three bolts on the same side as the bucket, but cannot seem to find the piece the goes on the other side to hold the buckets on?  I have looked in all the service manuals I could find and have bought a couple and they do not help!

There is no other piece that attaches on the same side as the bucket. The bucket sits to the cowl. The piece you have is the piece you're looking for and fits on the inside.

Building up a fine looking resto-mod, what is wrong with using a real Cadillac engine in it like a 390 or 472?  Chevys are for Fords.
