Was asbestos still used in various components - brakes heads hood liner, in 93 Cads coupe?

The Tassie Devil(le)

Not sure when the stuff was completely discontinues, but it was used in Sound Proofing, Carpet and Underlay and lots more places where people just don't realise.

You might be able to contact the Australian Federal Government, Quarantine Department, and they should be able to tell you, as they would have a list from all manufacturers as to when it was ceased to being used.

They would have to know this so that they can be sure of checking which vehicles have it for imported vehicle checking.
