If you read the vendor's description, you'll see that he had the interior trim completely made over, at great expense. It's a pity he spent so much on getting it wrong ...according to the body tag. Note also the "ELDORADO" hood and trunk lettering; it too is wrong. When you are asking $200K for a Brougham, it had better be right.
The dash pad is wrong, not an Eldorado Broughm pad. Vanity items are close but not real, counterfit. :'(
It's doubled in value since January last year...

When first offered for sale last year, the dash pad was covered with some kind of carpet material; I guess the original had been damaged or destroyed by the sun. Then "marv" eliminated the original interior trim (that didn't look too bad, actually) and put in an entire new, black leather (?) interior ...but he left the non-original hood and trunk letters. I guess the price doubled because he uses "the best retorers in the industry" who obviously know their stuff !
Hi Gene,
How can you tell about the vanity items? I wouldn't doubt it. Nothing wrong with it if their authenticity or lack thereof is disclosed.
I have followed this car for a couple of years. Everything noted is spot on. The dash insert that holds the clock and radio is supposed to be chromed and is still painted beige. The car was like that when Marv bought it. The incorrect ELDORADO letters on the decklid. The Vanity cups/holder and compact are incorrect. The black interior does not match any normal layout. A all black interior car still has white accents. This car was a beige interior car to begin with and not that bad, at least by the ebay pictures.
Just my 2 cents on this car. The car was a pretty nice original until the restoration.
