This is such a great car to start a restoration worth.
I am half tempted to chop the car up and make a convertible out of it.
Does anybody have a donor car or convertible parts?

CADCLIFF;
It is a car worth restoring, but not cutting up to make a droptop out of it. If you have noticed, my Wife Judy (aka Cinderella) has posted on this site looking for a '51-'53 2 Door Hardtop to restore. We have the knowledge to do a complete Frame-Off of any car, as we have done this several times. Well, maybe not a Multi-Million Dollar Automobile, but that too would be fun and a 'Great Challenge'.
We thought we had found one near Chicago, but after seeing the pictures, and calculating the expense to go there and return to our home here in Lovelock, NV., it didn't calc. out.
These cars are not worth what people are asking for them at this time, and we would encourage any sellers to take them off the market for a couple of years at a mininum. The economy must be put back into "REALITY" before our 'Hobby' comes back.
Why not completely restore the car you have, as you will be able to gets parts, etc., super reasonable at this time. Then you will have a car that could bring 'Big $$$s' after a 2-3 year time frame.
Just our 2 Cents.
GOOD LUCK.
