Title: !939 parts book
Post by: lou-q on June 23, 2011, 11:00:03 AM
Does anyone know where or who sells parts books for the 39 series 61 coupe?
It would make life a lot easier having one.
Thanks,

Lou:

The only parts book for your car would be a Master Chassis Parts List  from a year or so after 1939. One was reprinted many years ago by Crank and Hope Publications, but is long out of print. Justin Hartley also reprinted them but he is gone. The original Master Parts list books are hard to find and expensive.

A CLC Authenticity Manual would be a help in doing your car also.

You might try Detroit Iron.  They have a 1950 parts book on CD.  (It is billed as 1935).

I see parts listed for 1935 and later, sometimes it has parts listed for series 350 and 355 etc.

On the CD is also parts books for all years up to 1976.

I keep it in the CD drive on my laptop so when a question comes up I can look it up.
