Title: seeking help locating engine rebuild parts suit 8cyl straight lasalle 1939

we have a few lasalle straight 8,s to rebuild, seeking help/ advice/leads on purchasing gaskets set, oversize bearings, cam bearings, lifters, timing chain etc. any help appreciated..

     1939 is a V-8.  1934-1936 are straight eights.  I am not sure about interchangeability of parts with Oldsmobile from those years, but those are the years you are looking for if they are straight eights. If they are V-8s, plenty of parts around for those. Start with Kantor Brothers in NJ. or Google.
