Title: 1937 Cad Sunshade mounting brackets needed
Post by: Stinson on April 20, 2012, 10:54:27 AM
Hello, I need to purchase a Right side or both Left and Right sides pair of Sunshade mounting brackets. There is one on EBay now for $25 dollars but it is the Left side. I believe the Ternstedt number I need is TO6358R (I have a TO6307L.
Thank you,

Ty,

I think I have a spare somewhere but will need a couple of days to find it. How desperate are you?

Hello John,
Good to hear from you. Thank you. I only need the right side mount if you find that you have an extra.
No rush. The car just won 1st place yesterday out of 80 cars in a local benefit car show - could not believe it. There were cars there having $55,000 paint jobs and beautiful modifications. My car still has no runningboards and the dash has not been reworked yet and the shades are not installed.

Congratulations Ty,

I left the Running Boards off my '37 Chevrolet hot rod and it looked really good as well.

Some cars look so much cleaner without them.

Ty,
I have a T 06462 R. The #'s on a pair of visors should only differ by the last digit, so I'm not sure why you have totally different #'s. Maybe John Tozer can comment.

Bob/Ty,

I think that's my cue!

The numbers off my set (originals from my first car so I am pretty sure they are correct) are:

T06356R (Right side)

T06357L (Left side)

Any chance you typed the second last digit wrong, Ty?

You were almost right on the numbering - you just counted one digit up instead of one digit down.

Hello John and Bob. Thank you. The one I have is TO6357L. The one I need is TO6356R and you are correct, I guessed the wrong digit and further typed the wrong digit. I note the one I mentioned on Ebay is also a different model.
