I don't need the frame; just the brackets that are welded or brazed in place to hold both the windshield garnish (such as is used on all '49's) and the stainless steel wrap-around molding that covers up the side posts of the windshield frame. On closed cars, these clips are not permanently attached but from what I can deduce, they are attached on the convertibles so they aer properly located for use with the wrap-around molding. Closed cars do not have the stainless wrap-around molding.
There are two types of clips - mirror images of each other - for use in certain spots on the frame.
Does anyone know where there is a '49 convertible crying out for someone to come along and strip her?
