Title: '36-'37 conv. top latches

Need 1 center clamp and 2 end hooks, if anyone can help. Thanks

That centre hook doesn't look quite right for 37 David, its not the same as my 37, or the two 37 Buick's Iv owned. Is it different on the bigger series I wonder?
I do have a set of all three hooks recast in bronze ready for chrome but as I said the middle one is not the same. I also have some used handles that would need work. See how you get on with your contact in Connecticut.

Here's a picture of the center hold down hook on my '37 75 Series. It is smooth on the edges and the upper center hole is not drilled. Looks like something that was used on different applications. Sorry I don't have any extra hooks or clamps.    Harry

Yes, that confirms it, Davids is a different type than all mine that Iv owned, but it could be more down to body style than series, maybe the longer roof of the convertible sedan required sturdier hooks at the screen? that would explain it.
