This is mine 57 coupe that has lived her life in California. I hope to get her back to life again, but I have found out that it will take a few years.
the frame before sandblasting and painting
And after
And suspension sandblasted and powdercoated mounted on the car again
Looks very nice. Thanks for the pictures. What did you paint the frame with?
Frank Torticill
Looks nice so far.
Still a bit more work to go before you can drive it.
One tip, from experience, run a tap through every threaded hole while the chassis is at this stage. It will never be more accessible than it is now.
It is well worth the effort.
Good luck to you.
Ken
I don't remember what the painter told me witch type of paint :( But it was sandblasted and coated with zinkprimer and painted few times with black :)
Thanks for the tip with cleaning every hole, easy to forget when you want some progress on the car :)
Seat frame restored :) Just need new upholstery
anyone know about a company that's restore old Kelsey hays rims
If you have a Keystone Automotive in your area they may be able to do it. You may have to supply them with color info do to the age of the vehicle. I can get you the 800 number tomorrow if you need it. Dave

thanks David
Do you know if they have a e-mail or fax? I live in Norway so get in touch with them would be easiest that way.
I don't have a fax or email and none of the search hits provide that info.
Call them and ask Mike and see if they have a fax. I have not used them yet, but have seen their work and referred several other people (mostly Brougham guys) and everyone is very happy with the results. I will send my turbine wheels there when the time comes.
David
her she is on the way to mediablasting :)
I've had mine for 20 years and I still don't consider it "finished"! Looks great! All the best with it!
Her is the car back on the frame, sandblasted, painted inside and under, outside is just primed because it was some more rust that showed up when sandblasted
