Would like a set ( at least 4 ) matching light tan seat belts for my car. Even though there is some bulk to the car, I can't seem to get the picture out of my mind of myself flying through the windshield with the greatest of ease after an abrupt stop. Thanks for any leads on reasonably priced belts. Chuck
Chuck, I believe that seatbelts for that era will be pretty rare and hard to find. Even so, I would not trust the webbing after all these years. That same vision of flying through the windshield with a steering column stuck in my chest led me to find a nice set of '66 buckles, which I had re-webbed to my color and length preference. The company I sent them to is called SsnakeOyl.

I like the '64 - '66 buckles because of the classy Cadillac crest logos, and since they were standard equipment in '66, they are far more plentiful. Even though they are not "factory correct", CLC and AACA judging makes allowances for properly done safety upgrades like this.

Thanks so much for your input. I perhaps see why no one has responded to this point until you. What I meant by General Motors style is what you are talking about - something that doesn't look like an Auto Zone purchase of today. A modern, safe GM version in the color I need would be just fine. Period correct would be pretty difficult as none of these cars had them originally, right? I'll try your source and see what they might have. Appreciate the lead! Chuck
