Title: 1970 Dealer Data Book
Post by: 76eldo on March 16, 2013, 10:33:06 AM
I would like to purchase a dealer data book for 1970 models.

Must be in excellent condition.

Thanks,

Brian

Brian, I know you are a hands on guy, but until you find a copy you can download it free from the GM Heritage Center Media Archive website! HTH

I forgot all about that!  Thanks for the suggestion.

That way I can see exactly what's in the book before I buy one.

Thanks,
Brian

Not sure what is included in the 1970 Cadillac Heritage PDF file, but for 63 & 64 it includes the Dealer Data Book, the technical Specification Manual, the General Overview Ch 1 of the shop manual, and the owners manual.... so when  you say 'Dealer Data Book' it is only part of the compiled information in the GM heritage document.

I will add that the scans from the GM heritate site are often poor quality for much of the content, but is better than not having!  I will also say that the 63 & 64 Data books are small 3 ring note books with removable pages. I've got a 63 Data book where the inside pages are very nice  but the outer cover is only fair.  I picked it up anyway as I could swap out to a better notebook later on, but really wanted nice clean pages for now.

Hi, I think I have one. I have a meeting to go to in a short while, but will look when I return home. Barry Wheeler.
