I've got a 1967 Calais 2 door coupe that I'm in need of a replacement frame for. I'm open to any and all body styles besides convertibles. Must be within a roughly 3 hour drive of pandora, ohio 45877. Title not necessary. Needs to roll but drivetrain not needed but wouldn't hurt to have spares.Pm me with what you have. Also if it has any of these parts still good on it that would be great also.

If anyone has one that is farther away but cheap enough where shipping would still not make the overall price too bad I would still be interested. As long as it rolls.
I'm sure people have told you it will be far less expensive to buy a nice low mileage original 1967 Cadillac than to invest in a frame replacement, and etc. Understand of course if this has strong sentimental value and must be saved. The convertible frame works for the Coupe and Sedan, but not Fleetwood or Eldorado in 1967.
There isn't a sentimental value but there is no challenge in buying an already nice driver or restored car. I don't have that kind of money anyways. Yes it would be cheaper in the long run to do it that way but then again I would have to have the cash to purchase a nice one too. I've got $900 in this one so far. So I could buy a couple $800 parts cars and definitely have what I need. For less than one nice one.
I'm doing all the labor myself. I'm gonna do all the paint,bodywork, wiring, and frame swap myself. Along with the engine and what little interior work needs done. Only thing I'm going to farm out it the trans and having the exhaust I want done.
I'm not of the mentality to do anything the easy way and I don't conform with the buy it instead of build it mentality. Nothing against anyone that does, I'm just not wired that way.

Yea I got a little testy with it. It was one of those I'm gonna sell it but not really kinda deals. ;D I feel better now.
No apologies needed Ryan. To me working on these old cars is more fun than driving them. When I do drive them I enjoy it more because I am keeping it on the road, not my wallet.
