I've went through the interior of my 64 Coupe DeVille and tackled some eye-sore areas such as the rear package tray, arm rests, missing buttons on the seats, padding on the seat, and addressed some slow moving rear qtr windows. You can check out my progress at this link:

Just noticed your '64 has a vinyl top. Must be super rare and first year for the option?
Not sure first year they were offered. I know the 1960 and 1961 Fleetwood 60 Specials came with vinyl tops but that's the extent of my knowledge on prior offerings. Perhaps others can chime in. They were definitely offered in 1963 & 1964 for specific body styles.
Here's a run down of what was available for 63 & 64 that you will find on the 63/64 site at this link: http://6364cadillac.ning.com/profiles/blogs/vinyltop
In 1964: They were generally the cars that had the rear qtr and rear belt moldings that provided a natural break between the top and the body. The included the Coupe DeVille (body code J, body style # 6357), 4 window Sedan DeVille (body code B, body style # 6339), Fleetwood 60 Special (body code M, body style # 6039), and the 75 series cars (body code R & S and Body style #'s 6723 & 6733 respectively)
In 1963: the only 2 body styles eligible for the vinyl top were the Coupe DeVille and Fleetwood 60 special.
