Title: 1954 vert restoration
Post by: mark22 on April 13, 2015, 06:23:59 PM
Hi everyone,
Last tome I chimed in was  awhile back. Since then, my car was in an accident. My front left tire blew and the tire detreaded and damaged the front end, light housing, and driver fender. It was a beautiful September night and I was driving all alone enjoying a night off.....

Anyway, the car needed repainting and I thought this was my chance to do it. It has since been sanded to bare metal and I have all new floors and trunk pans for it. I am doing it right and not cutting corners. I am still curious as to what the undercarriage color is supposed to be from the factory. Also, it is Cabot Grey, paint code 10. It must be rare because I cannot find a single example of it anywhere. The interior is supposed to be all red. If anyone has any other recommendations about this project, please let me know.
