I went through 2 brake light switches and then posted in the Forum. Lots of good advice including Bill Ingler's suggestion to "Buy American for quality. I found a Wagner FC 7715 in a box of misc I had collected so I am putting it in but want to buy a good replacement for my stock. Bill suggested a Neihoff, or a Cole-Boston. Does any body have information as to where I could find one of these?
I also need the switch for the little glove box light.
And a the correct 1940's 6 volt horn relay.
Down to the niitty Gritty and almost ready for last part of the upholstery.
Hi
I have a nos Joseph Pollak stoplight switch, which could be six volt and what you are looking for.
It is a " 40s" style box and is as new, I may even have 2.
Give me your e mail address and I will send you photos, or post photo of the style you are looking for.
Thanks Richard New Zealand
Richard, you have my attention!! I am not worried about style as much as functionality. I have installed a dual master cylinder system and the tee in the hydraulic line is the standard one for brake light switches, I believe it is 1/8" Male Pipe Thread.
By the way Bill Engler was able to provide me with a NOS horn relay.
Now if I can get a hold of the brake light switch my only problem is the glove box switch. It has been suggested that I modify another style of switch. If I need to I will do that later as a last resort. Luckily not having a glove box light will not hinder my progress.
