Title: Source for correct spark wiring for flatheads.
Post by: gary griffin on February 09, 2016, 05:35:45 PM

My engine rebuild shop put an ugly set of blue modern wires on my engine when they rebuilt it, now I need to find out what the correct ones look like and a source for them.

Ottos list shows Bob's but they say they are Buick store and do not  have what I need.

I doubt there's any place to get a ready made set but there are places out there selling the braided wire if that's what your after? You can swap the ends over yourself.

What colour would you say that is Bill, looks a little blue in the picture and was there different colours for different years?

Correct wire is also available from YnZ in CA which is easier for shipping for us in the NW.  They also have the correct ends.  It is bulk wire so you have to cut and make the set.  Not a difficult job in the scheme of things doing these cars.
