Title: 1960 Eldorado rear trunk molding

Looking for a 1960 Eldorado rear trunk molding,  condition doesn't matter or if it has the letters on it still

The end moulding where the eldorado letter mount to, also has the keyhole for trunk lock.  Mounts to end of decklid

Nick,

That's really called the deck lid extension.
Cliff and Brian Faul probably have some of these.

The molding is the die cast chrome lip molding.

Any 60 deck lid should have this piece attached

Are the 59 and 60s different? Letter spacing closer on 60? Thanks.

Totally different.

60 Eldorado just has a series of holes for the letters to get installed on the painted extension of the deck lid.

59 Eldo has a brushed chrome bar that the letters go onto as well as a polished stainless molding that is the trunk extension.

Photos show the difference.  Some guys have chromed the 60 extension and although it looks good, it's not correct.
