I can't vouch for them but this is the only place I could find while looking for a rebuilder.
John (828)891-2570 at Genuine Transmission in Mills River, NC. Ask around some of your local old-school trans shops. They can probably point you to someone closer or local.
The Trans Shop in Doylestown, PA was confident in having the knowledge doing mine. Thankfully it just needed a re-seal. (215)345-8790
Good luck

The rebuilt transmission in my '61 was from Genuine Transmission . They were great to deal with and the transmission is 100%.

Steve Peluso at Lee Myles Transmissions ins West Roxbury, MA has an excellent reputation for his knowledge of older transmissions.

He's a Pontiac guy but he has worked on many Cadillacs.

That's a little closer for me. I think he was mentioned before. I'll check into him too, Thanks. I've asked around here in CT and have been asked "you mean a Turbo? " Scary. Most guys familiar with a 62 transmission are retired like I should be!  But it's just around the bend!

Charlie,
I live very close to Fatsco and have been using them for a few decades. They are A #1 people. Nice, knowledgeable, and always helpful with advice. They also have a great stock of vintage parts on the shelf, and used hard to get parts also. Just down the road is Fisher Transmission, who will do an old trans for you. They've also been around forever, and possibly related. Years ago I took my Hydra-Matic there for a estimate. Quoted me $1600.00 to open it up  :o :o :o :o :o. You know damn well once that's open, you're looking at maybe 3-4K by the time you're 'outta there. That little episode forced me to take it on myself. Done for less than $400.00. If you ask me, it was easier than a Turbo 400 or a C4. I hate being taken advantage of.......

I did the Borg warner transmissions in my boat. They are like the early ford cruisomatic transmissions  from the 60's, minus the valve body.. If I had a good manual on with step by step instructions I know I could do it if didn't require special tools beyond and hyd. press. I don't have any special tools for these transmissions. Valve bodies scare me with all those check balls and rubber pucks. Pinned a few accumulators in my day though.
