Cooker & Diamond back seem to be the only place to find WW for 15" tires. Cooper told me they have had 3/4"WW for years on their Trendsetter and can be had at Merchants tire. A low price inc. mounting and balance, taxes for $234.00 Their customer service # is 800 854 6288
Well, I would say that there isn't the market for all the different width whitewalls that the collector car people want.
The Collector Car industry just doesn't buy sufficient tyres to enable mass production to be profitable.
As I don't think whitewalls have been used by the mainstream manufacturers for many years, the chances of getting whitewalls will eventually disappear, the same way as various sizes are getting light on.
Remember when most cars had 13" and 14" tryes, well, now everyone is going for the 17", 18" and upwards to even 24".
Remember when the norm was 28" and larger, and then the industry went down as low as 10", for the Morris Mini? Well, it is happening in reverse. The signs of the times.
Plus, don't forget that anyone buying a special sized whitewall isn't wanting to buy another set for at least 10 years, and then the originals will probably have 90% of tread left.

I put a set of 15" Coopers on my 55 Belair for $320. Whitewall was just big enough and I drive it all over.
Remember "Sooper-Dooper, 4 Ply Cooper..." I put a set on my '81 Seville and they ride quite well.
I'm quite happy with these....Suretrac Power Touring (235 75 R15) 1.5" whitewall (advertised as 1.6", but measured 1.5")
$95 each/$380 set of 4, including shipping. Sure, I could have paid an extra $500 for another 3/4" of whitewall, but decided against it.
William, Thanks for the information. I have been looking for a five tires for my 1957 60-Special and though the consensus is that whitewalls of 1.25 inches is correct yours look great. I will take a good look at them and can live with an extra 1/4 inch to save about a grand?
It doesn't look like Suretrack has much of a dealer network going yet. Most of the hits seem to be places like ebay. Its good to know there is a little closer option than the what 3/4? on the Hankooks for those that are not ready to spend the big bucks from a specialty vendor.
I bought my Suretracs from performanceplustire.com.
I have Hankooks on my 71 (on the car when I bought it) and am quite happy with them.
