Title: Question for 1976 Eldorado
Post by: RewindYourMind on April 26, 2017, 09:21:15 PM
Hello Gents,

Anyone know where I can buy a set of chrome spoke wire wheels for front wheel drive '76 Eldorado.  Every website I call (truspoke, dayton, coker) has nothing for a front wheel drive car.  Any suggestions

That's because nobody makes them.  There were some out there years ago but they were thick spokes and were ugly.
You would have to get in touch with a wheel company and have a set custom made.

Appliance made a couple different types of aluminum wheels for them. You can find pictures on google.

I have a set of Appliance wheels that I got for my '72, but alas, they didn't fit at the rear, as there is a lump to clear to do with the wheel spats.   But, I finally found some Western Wheels for my '72.

But, they do, or should fit the '75 and '76, as these have the rounded rear wheel arches.

PS.   They are for sale.  AU$500.00, and come with the special attaching sleeves for the lug nuts.
