Guys,
Just found this one buried in the vault. I assume it's a hood support. What do you think Steve P. It will be for sale. Just found the other side. Missing a few easy to make parts. These are really nice Ca. parts. No salt belt junk here.
Thanks, Bob
You are on the money there Bob. No wonder mine were missing! Did you keep those as a souvenir off my car Bob way back in 1972 ;D ;D ;D ;D
Damm, someone was asking after a pair last year??
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your response. There's a guy on the board looking for something 37 hood related but I'm not sure what. Please help me find the guy you mentioned. He might still be looking. THANKS!
Cheers, Bob
Hi Bob, here is the thread I think you are looking for, but I don't think those are the parts he needs.

That’s definitely the ‘37 hood support, keep them well lubed for smooth operation, but not the part I’m looking for. D Varney
Guys,
I wasn't sure what you were looking for. I had no idea I even had these parts.
Maybe Steve P can find the guy looking for what I have.
Thanks, Bob
Bob - there is an old post ( 7/15/16 ) by Jack Worstell titled " 1937 Cadillac Series 60 Hood Rest Fittings " who was looking for those supports . Sorry , don't know how to cut and paste the post . ....Paul Tesone CLC #6876 .
Paul,
If no one can bring it up, I'll look up his info in the directory. I'm not good at searching old posts.
Thanks, Bob
Yes, this is the one.
