It’s a bit young for me but I’ve just bought this car which had damage to the drivers side rear and centre doors. The damage has just been repaired but I need to locate some of the trim panels that cover the lower part of the doors and also the stainless strips that cover the rocker panels. Does anyone know if these are available and if so
where from? I definitely need for the drivers and rear door - I can get away with the one on the centre door. I’ve attached photos of the panels on the passenger side for reference.
Also, the plastics that hold the window switches etc on the drivers and passengers front doors are broken - the design of this stuff isn’t great and they used WAY too much plastic in my opinion - are these something that’s possible to locate replace? I’ll post a picture of one of these later so you know what I mean.
Thanks guys 👍🏻
G'day Russell,
Looks pretty good without the plastic side pieces in place.
But, I can see you driving the byways in Devon and Cornwall in the height of the tourist season, meeting opposite travelling vehicles along the hedge-rows. ;)

You’re right Bruce - it does look ok but the car was originally silver and when it was painted they didn’t bother to remove the trims so the lower portion of each door that was covered by the trim is still silver. It’s either remove all trims and paint all doors or try to locate the missing trims.
I’m using this car for filming this week so have made up some dummy side trims using foam rubber and self adhesive vinyl in grey and chrome - this will do for filming but it’s not a long-term solution.
You can usually find those parts on fleabay. The problems is that it's a stretch body and the length might need "adjusting"
