Can someone give me a source to get my original water pump rebuilt so it'll be correct when I get it judged? Or can I rebuild it myself?
Thanks
Jim

I can highly recommend this firm -- they have
been in business "forever":

I've had several water pumps, fuel pumps rebuilt by
him and always a first class service.

Mike got in first but I will leave my post as I typed it ---
Arthur Gould in Massachusetts --- http://arthurgouldrebuilders.com/
or
Egge Machine --- https://egge.com/info/water-pump-rebuilding/
or
no doubt your NAPA auto parts store. All the pumps are rebuilds of originals, so just paint it the correct Cadillac dark blue and install --- bingo, original.
Probably Egge Machine or Arthur Gould or The Flying Dutchman will sell you parts to rebuild yourself although I am not positive of that. There will no doubt be more replies coming.
Or Rockauto - maybe. I haven't tried sourcing parts for the 429. My lower year end cutoff is 1968 for that reason.
Yes, I checked RockAuto and they sell them but are "out of stock".
Thanks all.. Now I'm trying to locate a set of bolts for the WP. Mine are either broken or badly corroded.
