Anyone out there have 1936 Series 70, 75, 80, or 85 radiator? Will consider any condition. Thanks, Ken
Ken
I have a pre-war Cadillac radiator in excellent condition, which was intended for my 1918 Speedster .
The dimensions did not allow me to easily mount the unit to the front clip , so that I substituted another unit with more acceptable tolerances.
Not sure if my unit will fit the series you have listed, so would ask you to provide the dimensions you are looking for.
Phil
Hi Phil,
The aprox measurement is 20" wide by 29" long from the bottom tank to the center of the top tank with a 4" core. The radiator is bolted on to a mounting frame that is attached to the nose. My parts book suggests this is a one year only series 70,75,80,85. If you think you have something similar to these dimensions I can send some pics. I know there's a slim chance that any are out there, but figured it was worth a shot. Thanks for your response, Ken
Ken
It may help to note that the data plate on my radiator reads "Harrison # 41C811515, and is identical to my 1941 Series 62 convertible.
Also has the front wall cut out for a thermostat.
PHIL
Phil,
If its the same as your 1941 than pretty sure it would be different than what I am looking for. Thanks for looking, Ken
measurements are the same as you have provided.
Phil,
Maybe someone else can comment on inter-changeability. The Master Body Parts List Book states 1940-1941 radiator with tanks are the same part number 311 5151 while 1936 does not provide a part number (Not Available). Thanks, Ken
Ken,
Sent you a PM.
Bob
Ken, Are you still looking for a '36 radiator? I came across one in a parts lot.
Harry
Hi Harry,
I just had mine repaired but for the right price it wouldn't hurt to have spare parts. You can email me at kzmann@cox.net with details. Thanks, Ken
