Wish I had a tank to put it in.

I always wondered why the tanks got the "Cadillac" script cast into the heads and our cars didn't. I would've thought it should've been the other way around. I kind of like the way it looks cast into the head. It Makes a Statement.....

Maybe it was a way of showing the enemy that they had just blown up a Cadillac-powered tank instead of a cheaper Ford powered unit?

But, most probably so that the mechanics having to do repairs knew just what they were working on, and didn't have to go chasing in the Ford parts bin for parts?

With all the different engines that were plunged into service, it would stop the time wasted looking for parts to repair.

Its surprising the differences you find in these heads too, this one would need some machining to fit a car because used on the right side the water outlet is at the back, and used on the left side the water inlet is too small.
I had a pile of these at one time with many different water outlet configurations. Some will fit directly on the cars, others would not.  I couldn't give them away but now everyone seems to want them.
