Looking for recommendations on where to get the steering wheel restored.
Would not rule out other locations but first preference would be Central Florida and or Austin/Houston Area so it can be dropped off and picked up in person. Not that shipping has not worked well on other aspects of the project but this will be in his face every time it's driven or he's just sitting there taking in the end result of this restoration journey.
Thanks in advance.

Dennis @ Quality Restorations did my 1965 Eldorado wheel a few years ago. Outstanding work. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Check out some of his restorations.
Thanks.
We shall look in to this.

Have a look at Koch in California.
Great work and reasonable. They restored the wheel onmy 52 Fleetwood in 2005, when I purchased in in 2017, the wheel now had blisters and was not cosmetically nice to look at. I reached out and they redid it for only the UPS cost for me to ship to them. They pride return shipping. Great company and they said 4 weeks and it took 4 weeks. Highly recormmended, the wheel now look PERFECT!
More reasonable prices compared to the other guys I have seen quotes from.
Just a thought
Bill,
Had my Red Eldo Biarritz wheel done by Donaldson (?) in Phoenix or Scottsdale AZ maybe 3 or so years ago.
They had the chrome pieces redone as well - not the horn ring - the pieces that separate the two tone sections that you likely have - Eldos are all one color - and good job on the texture.
Have fun,
