Title: Copper pipes running through fire wall.
Post by: Preacher141 on March 14, 2019, 11:12:11 AM
Could someone tell me what these two vacuum pipes are for?  We eliminated vacuum wipers.  But, I can't figure out anything to attach to them.  1956 Cadillac Series 62 single 4 no A/C.  4 door sedan.  Drivers side next to air box.

You say copper in your title but your post says vacuum.
I am going to guess either the windshield washer or antenna (not sure if 56 is vac or electric). May be Antena if you see coper. Sorry I can't tell from the picture.

Large one is for the windshield washer fluid to the sprayers connections inside the cabin and the smaller one is the vacuum line from the washer pump to the push button to activate the washer pump.

Thanks yall.  We got an electric pump conversion and wipers.  So will only need the large one I reckon.

You would need the large one to feed the water/fluid line back to the windshield sprayers inside, the smaller one would be the one that is not needed in your application.  ;)
