This should be a Precision/Moog 536 universal joint.

Rock Auto, Amazon and others should have them.

I bought some for my 37 at a local napa truck shop, they were 30.00 each, they use the same one in industrial equipment as well,if you have a part number it should be able to be crossed over, they are on ebay as well, but they want 250.00 for them there :o.In canada where i live it is called Traction truck parts,it is a division of NAPA.Try and find a good parts shop and see if they can cross the numbers to a new part.

my MPB shows 142 4820 is the GM number,it fits from 35 to 1946, with a few exceptions for the commercial Chassis models. same for front and rear.might be easier to ask for a joint to fit a 40 or so,at the parts shop?,ill have a look and see if i saved anything from when i bought mine, old box or a receipt.
