Looking for 1 or 2 headlight bezels for a 50 Cad
If anyone can answer that ‘51 series 6219 are similar, I do have a pair of 51 as removed, good condition, not show but could be replated if that’s your need.
These were typically "universal" and supplied by the bulb manufacturers. Any correct size usually fits. There are some repros out there too. Stainless steel, typical, there quite thin, not chrome. Early may be chrome.
My parts list shows 1940 thru '53 the same.
Ok, you are talking about the retaining ring that goes under the bezel and actually holds the bulb to the headlight bucket...don’t have those.
Like you say, very common part, you should be able to find those around, good luck
I’m looking for the outer bezel/trim (not the retaining rings). 50 appears to be a different part than 51/52, but I’m sure how because they look basically the same.
1950 and early 51 are the same, later 51 and 52 have a lip or visor at the top, making them look a little different. Some 51 models have the 50 style, some have the 52 style. I believe they all will fit the same.
Good to know! Thanks, Bob.
If I can find mine in the garage, I will dig them out and post pics. I am out of town this week and return home on Fri 10/4. I wrapped them up and put them in a box when I removed them.
Mine do not have the ‘lip or visor’ as described, they are smooth.
I replaced mine with the ‘53 style that has a more pronounced ‘visor’...
That is why I pulled the old ones off.
I have no intention of reinstalling them.
I found them, good driver condition, including the rubber grommet and the spring clips. Let me know if these are what you are looking for and you are interested.
There are some scuffs and minor scratches. With some work they can be polished up nicely. They are stainless, no dents.
I also have a pair of ‘51 fog light housings, similar driver quality as removed.
Please note the pic orientation is sideways...the screw hole goes at the bottom.
Thanks for the photos. Please let me know how much you’re asking for them. Thanks again.
