Title: 1960 Coupe Deville bumpers or bumper parts
Post by: 2 Devilles on March 30, 2020, 04:46:10 PM
Hi, I'm looking to see if anybody has any complete rear or front bumpers for sale, or any sections they'd be interested in selling.  Mine are "ok" except for the drivers side top front outer piece and the passenger rear outer part that goes around the taillights, those would be the two I'm mainly looking for.  Here's a pic of my front section I'm looking for, so if you've got one with better chrome then this, that's what I'm after.  My rear is in about the same condition, here's a random pic of that section I need for reference.  I'd also be interested in the front top center and rear center section, or whole bumpers if the price is right.  Shoot me a text or respond here, thanks!

Lucas you might be better off biting the bullet and getting them rechromed. My rear bumper and ends ran me about $1200 here in Philly. Old school chrome guy did a nice job repairing pits in the ends. Just my 2 cents

Yeah, that might be the end all be all.  I found a rechromed front that the guy will trade me mine as a core on.  Being in Montana I don't want the car to be "down" during the good season, so I might take them off in November if nothing else comes up before then and get them done over the winter.  Thanks.

Sorry Brian,
Haven’t been scrolling through here much lately. I used DGM on Torresdale Ave.
Steve was a cool dude, wouldn’t chrome some trim pieces cause it would cost more than buying a new/used one in better shape. Took about 3-4months.
