When you post a picture when/how do you put the text under the pic in?
Not sure you can using the forums' attachment option. Best to go to a photo hosting site and enter from there.

Are you talking about the blue text directly under the pic? If so, that is the file name of the photo. So, to put anything there you have to change the name of the file before uploading the pic.
I think he’s talking about how MaR (Mitchell Radford) does his pics in the restoration forum. He’s got a ‘74 eldo that he’s working on.
Christam I think so.
Glenn so you're saying Change the description to the photo in my file in CLS computer will insert it instead of their caption. I'm going to try it but I don't think I'm understanding because any picture in my file has a title and it doesn't carry over to the forum.
TEST
It worked thank you Glen

You insert your image first, then type away
I think several people will want to know more about how Art did that. I was gonna say it used IMG code but when I do that I think there is a 'report image' link next to it which I don't see there.
So what's the story behind the '53 Eldorado sitting on the grass?
You have to use the IMG tags to put at picture in line with your text, not the attachments option below the text window. If you click on the image icon shown below while making a post, it will automatically put the IMG tags in and all you have to to is paste your link between the tags. Also note that to manually add IMG tags, the "IMG" part has to be surrounded with [ ] and be formatted as follows (using brackets): {IMG}your URL{/IMG}

You can then continue on with your post and add more text or images.

So what's the story behind the '53 Eldorado sitting on the grass?
It was at an auction I attended 2-3 yrs ago in downtown Nashville. I was there as an observer to only try and retrieve the production number of the Eldo. It was advertised as a '53 Cadillac convertible and was announced and sold as such by the auctioneer. I had $10K in my pocket and it brought $12K. I assumed there would be some deeper pockets in attendance. The original hood was laying on the ground, with one corner bent a little. Little did I know it was Eldo only, it brought five dollars, ornament and all.
I was driving my Mom's Toyota and couldn't haul the hood but packed the seats and trunk full of caddy parts, '55 Eldo floor mats, hubcaps including '59 Eldo and picked through several piles I had to buy to get the valuable stuff. Left the rest. A good pickin day for sure!
As far as posting pics, MaR explained it better than I could.
