Title: Looking to buy Something
Post by: Ohjai on July 30, 2020, 11:20:23 AM
I have my 49 Bentley on Bring-A-Trailer and it closes around 1:30 PM today.  With this said, I am thinking/looking for something to replace it with.  My thought are 37-39 60 special, a 51-53 Fleetwood, or a 59 Fleetwood.

I am looking forward to all of your comments.

Thanks

Jim

Thanks Vince.  Nothing on your site jumps out at me.

I have made a decision of what to wish for.  A 1939 Series 60 with dual spare tires, one on each wing.  I narrowed it down to a 39 because that is the year I came into this world and would like to have some transportation equal in age.  This way when one of us creaks and growns the other will understand.

The dual side tire carriers , because they look cool.

After looking at the pictures, phone conversations with members and other research, I have decided to pass on this car.

As a member pointed out to me under door trim is missing and probable not available, no head light switch, so headlights probably do not work, No radio and a big gaping hole where it goes.

No history on the car, it just does not leap out at me and say "Take Me Home".
