Does anyone know who can (a) authenticate that certain sabres are correct for 1957 and (b) restores them?
Doing some preliminary research / budgeting for my impending '57 Biarritz restoration.
Thanks
The only place I'm aware of that restores sabre
wheels correctly is Valley Wire Wheel in CA.
Their web site:
https://valleywirewheel.com/services-offered
It's not cheap, the last time I checked it was around
$1,500 per wheel. Your local chrome shop won't
touch these. They did my wheels and they are
still perfect 10 years later.
As far as what "number" and "construction" is
correct for the different years, that's a complex
subject. There was a complete and detailed
discussion on this topic on this forum (do a
search) as well on the mid-years Cadillac forum.
However, I'm not sure that forum is still active.

About 45 minutes away from me. Thank you for the reply.

For 57 & 58, part number 41098, stamped on the inside of the wheels under the cap, would be the correct ones.
