Title: Looking For Cruise Control Transducer 1976 Eldorado
Post by: Caddyjack on December 09, 2020, 03:05:51 PM
I've looked online for a cruise control transducer for my 1976 Eldorado. Advance Auto and O'Relly both show it on google, with a price, but when I try to buy, they are out of stock. Part is "Cardone 36-102 Remanufactured Cruise Control Transducer".

Does anyone have a source? Thanks.

-Jack

Thanks for the tip, Greg. Sadly no luck there.

I managed to get one from Rock Auto (Cardone reman).  For the longest time, nothing was available and then one day it was!  Snapped it up.  I suspect they become available whenever Cardone receives a rebuildable core.  In any case, the reman unit works perfectly -- like a modern cruise control.

I remember seeing them listed at the USA Parts and Supplies site.

Mine works, it just surges from lack of use. After 100 miles or so it smooths out.
