Title: 1941 Fender Skirts required in England
Post by: rustytractor on January 25, 2021, 03:21:41 AM
I’m just completing a deal to buy a 1941 Series 62 Convertible 4 door sedan which I’ll be shipping back to England. There are no Fender Skirts so I’d like to find a set to bring back with the car.

Does anyone have (or know of) a complete, original set along with any attaching fixtures that I can buy?

Hi Russell,
I bought a 1940-7567 convertible several years ago on which the former owner, to be more up to date, obviously, had attached some parts of the 1941 models.
Side chrome strips on front and rear fenders and, also, a set of skirts with new emblems which are in excellent condition.
I kept the strips but removed the skirts as they don't really fit the 1940 fender opening, so they are for sale, if you don't find a suitable pair in the US.
I attach a few pictures of the car in the US when I bought it with the skirts still on for you to see what they look like. Also, a picture of the car in the present condition.
I can also send more pictures of the skirts, front and rear, with measurements, if you want them.
