Title: 1937 cadillac model 60 steering wheel shaft
Post by: rbrown7713 on February 09, 2021, 06:17:10 PM
I have a need for a 1937 Cadillac steering wheel shaft, don't need the complete column, just the shaft. Thank you, Robert Brown.

I don't know if they are the same but I have a complete 1937 LaSalle column - wheel to the box. Maybe someone can tell you if it the parts are the same?

They are probably the same. We can compare the size of the spline for the wheel.   Shaft should be 13/16 and 36 count spline. How much are you asking? Robert Brown.

I measured the spline of the the steering wheel hub and as close as I could measure it, it measured .740, so if you measure the spline on the steering wheel end, the OD. should be pretty close to
.740 .   Thanks, Robert Brown.  My phone is: 813-753-8961   email is:  rbrown77138@verizon.net

Thanks everyone, I will no longer need the shaft, as I am approaching this conversion from a different direction, so, thanks. Bob.
