Terrifically engaging narrative, so very well written with wonderful pictures--and very much appreciated.( suggest it be a feature for the "Self-Starter.").  You've presented this fascinating gentleman, his wonderful personality, and his work,  and with his wife, who shares his  interests, your narrative implicitly says much about enjoying life and having fun with "project cars"  -- thank you for taking the time to compose it.    Certainly an interesting car at an attractive price.  Hoping it goes to a good CLC home, and we can enjoy the process of its restoration.
Gratefully,. James

We have stopped and chatted with Mr. Crutchfield twice now and it is always a pleasure to hear his stories and see his continued dedication to these cars. The exterior metal has the surface rust with the great looking patina but metal seems very thick and solid and there are original tires, hubcaps, etc. that go along with the car.  His 1938 LaSalle would be a fantastic restoration project and would love to see it restored and at a Grand National one day!
ps. Les Eastling wrote this engaging story on Mr. Crutchfield and the LaSalle. I snapped the pictures ... which was the fun and easy part!
